04 Aug P.A.L. Football Sign-ups
The Glens Falls Police Department is again this year coordinating a ‘PAL Youth Football Program’ for students in Glens Falls who are in grades 3 through 6. There are two divisions of the football program, the flag football program is for students in 3rd and 4th grade while the tackle program is for students in the 5th and 6th grade. The football program is open and offered only to students within the city of Glens Falls School District. This also includes Abe Wing School as well as St. Mary’s. The cost of the program is $40 for the flag football season and $50 for the tackle football season. Limited financial aid is available for participants. The season consists of approximately 6 games that take place on Saturdays and Sundays in September and October. Some travel may be required and car pooling will be available.
Registration forms must be completed and submitted by August 21st as that date is the official first practice of the season for both divisions. Registrations forms can be submitted ahead of time by being mailed or they can be dropped off on August 21st at the first practice. The first practice with registration on August 21st will be held at the Glens Falls Middle School/High School Complex behind the school at 6:00pm.
