The Glens Falls Police Department has augmented it's patrol capabilities through the use of police bicycle patrols.The concept of a bicycle patrol is very consistent with the mission of the Glens Falls Police Department in that the patrols will increase our level of service and make our residents feel safer in their homes and neighborhoods. The police department currently has four patrol bicycles and several officers assigned to the bicycle patrol unit. Pictured above are Patrol Officers Cortney Warner and Michelle Norman. The bike patrol unit has been in service since 1995 and has been received very well by the public.
